This weekend saw 3 of our teams in GF action. On Saturday the U15 Girls and Senior Women's Division 1 teams were brave losers, going down 2-1 to Lara and 3-0 to Deakin respectively.

Yesterday it was the turn of the Senior Men's Division 1 team, who were up against Geelong Rangers as they tried to add the Grand Final to the league championship already secured. A magnificent free kick from Sean Mahon just before half time equalised an earlier Rangers goal, and no further goals in the second half or in extra time, meaning the final was going to be decided on penalties.

With Matty Bray saving a penalty, Ashley Dafter stepped forward to score the final kick and win the game 4-3 on penalties! Congratulations to Dale and his squad on a fantastic double and thanks to everyone who came along and supported all of our teams this weekend.
